A small garden, a lot of walking, and a notebook that kept running out of pages. This is where the notebook went.

Nothing here is expert advice. Most of it is a record of what I tried, what happened, and what I would do next time, so that next year I can make different mistakes.

The name comes from the path behind the house, which runs along a row of old willows down to the brook.
